Imagine a world with no land          

just oceans. No people, no

land animals, no trees nothing

but sea creatures and water.

First I am going to tell you about the

different oceans. There are 5 oceans, Arctic,

Atlantic, Pacific, Indian and Southern.

The Pacific ocean is surrounded by

a large number of volcanoes that

is called the Pacific ring of fire.The largest ocean is the Pacific ocean and the smallest is the Arctic.

70% of earth is covered with oceans,

so that means land only covers 30%

of earth. Did you know that half the

oxygen we breath is made by the ocean?

Now I will tell you 3 winter facts about

the ocean. Fact 1, during winter the arctic

ocean is almost completely covered with ice.

Fact 2, if all the ice in glaciers and ice

sheets melted, the sea level will

rise by about 80 metres.And finally factor 3 in

Canada the atlantic ocean sometimes freezes

so people play hockey on it.

Sharks are an important part

of the ocean and here are a few

reasons why. Reason 1 sharks keep

the ocean clean by eating dead

animals and sometimes even rubbish.

And Reason 2 sharks also eat some

species, so they don't over populate.

14 billion pounds of rubbish are dumped

in the ocean every year. Most of it

is plastic. The rubbish in the ocean can

kill the animals, so dont throw rubbish

in the ocean.

Billions of creatures live under the ocean

and they are really cool. Some people say

say fish are really dumb and boring,

but the truth is they are actually

the opposite. I know that because I

have 2 pet goldfish of my own.

They are smart and can do really

cool tricks.

To end my speech I will tell you

a few jokes. What did Cinderella wear

                  Rats!

Before

I opened the door and there were kids everywhere. Boys were climbing out the window and there were paper planes everywhere. My best friend Anna was holding one one of the rats from the science lab and the rest were running all over the room. Anna told me there were no teachers none at all.

After

I opened the door at full speed. “Duck!’ yelled Matt, and a huge paper plane came diving right at my head. “Come on!’ Jack was halfway out the window, two boys were right behind him. My best friend Anna was holding one of the rats from the science lab - the rest were running everywhere. “ Whats happening!” I asked her. “There’s no teachers,” she cried “ None at all!” Suddenly all the rats rushed out the window. We all rushed to the window to see where they went.”Aaahhh!” Mrs Pencilcase screamed. We all wondered why the rats jumped on her, but then we saw the cheese.

We ran out the door to see if Mrs Pencilcase was okay.”I’ll bring the rat cages” Anna said. Just as Anna finished putting the rats in the cages the principal came. “ Get back to class!” he said. We all walked to class with our heads down. “Who did this!” we all stared at him blankly. “I will be talking to your parents tonight.” Uh oh...

             Lost at sea

As I paddled my small boat in the shallow water, without warning humongous waves crashed on the side of my boat pushing it further and further away from the beach. Suddenly everything went dark and I fell asleep. When I slowly opened my eyes I was in the middle of the ocean. I looked around to see if anyone was there but there wasn’t. I yelled for help but all that yelled back were my echos. I glanced behind me and saw a small group of dolphins. I tried to use my hands to do actions so they understood me, but they didn’t. Finally I remembered that I had a phone, and I called 111 and told them I was lost at sea. Ten minutes later a helicopter came and dropped down a ladder. I climbed up and got in. When I looked down the dolphins looked like toys. I safely got home and never went back to that beach again.
